New resource: Hypertension management at a glance

AstraZeneca, one of TAFP’s Partners in Health, shared a concise resource highlighting key recommendations from the 2025 AHA/ACC hypertension guideline. It includes blood pressure treatment goals, risk-based thresholds for initiating therapy, and the use of the AHA PREVENT Calculator to help estimate 10-year cardiovascular risk. 

Designed as a quick reference for clinical practice, the guide also covers strategies to improve blood pressure control, follow-up recommendations for patients with uncontrolled hypertension, and common causes of secondary hypertension.
