Register to attend the 2013 AAFP Family Medicine Global Health Workshop, Oct. 10-12
Practicing physicians, faculty, residents, and students with an interest or experience in international activities and global health are encouraged to share their international experiences in developing and promoting family medicine worldwide through poster or peer sessions at the 2013 AAFP Family Medicine Global Health Workshop. The theme of this year’s workshop is “Global Health through Family Medicine: Reflecting on the Past, Preparing for the Future.”
The workshop, scheduled Oct. 10-12 in Baltimore, Md., provides an opportunity to network with global health experts and peers with similar interests, strengthen your capacity to contribute to global health programs, learn about diseases rarely encountered in the United States, and promote family medicine faculty development.
Follow this link to access instructions for submitting a peer presentation abstract or poster abstract; the deadline is June 15, 2013.
Register before July 31 to receive the early bird registration rate. For more information, visit www.aafp.org/intl/workshop. Additional questions should be directed to Rebecca Janssen, AAFP program coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
