2016 marks end of Primary Care Incentive Program
As of Dec. 31, 2015, the Primary Care Incentive Program is no longer. The program paid primary care physicians bonuses up to 10 percent of what Medicare paid them as long as they met certain criteria. AAFP is strongly encouraging family doctors to become familiar with alternative payment models now. Read more in this AAFP Leader Voices blog.
