NAMCS

SPARRC chose the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (NAMCS) as its next research study. NAMCS is a National probability sample survey of visits to office-based physicians conducted by the National Center for Health Statistics, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. SPARRC used the National data and analyzed it with their data to create comparison data for family physicians in Texas. A total of 334 forms were received from the 12 physicians that returned survey materials.
