Educate your patients with AAFP’s personalized “What is a Family Physician?” brochure

New from AAFP, promote your value within the American health care system by personalizing, printing and distributing a free marketing piece about family medicine. The four-color “What is a Family Physician” brochure advocates the role of the family physician in treating the whole person, regardless of age or sex. The brochure is available as a PDF on TAFP’s Web site and online at the AAFP patient Web site, familydoctor.org. Click here for more information about the brochure and other uses for its text.

Family physicians join the frontlines of tobacco cessation

The AAFP’s tobacco cessation program, "Ask and Act," encourages family physicians to ASK all patients about tobacco use, then to ACT to help them quit. Go to the Ask and Act Web site to access a practice toolkit, patient education materials, tobacco statistics and more.
