PrimeCME PrimeCME

As a physician, you know the importance of having CME programs in your area, but do you know the importance of serving as an On-Site Coordinator at TAFP PrimeCME programs? According to the ACCME guidelines, an attendee must fill the role of the on-site coordinator for the program to be accredited.

Your role as an on-site coordinator is to make sure that all attendees sign in and complete the proper program documentation. In addition, the on-site coordinator is responsible for introducing the speaker.

When you agree to serve, a PrimeCME Meeting Planner will send you a complete package that includes an agreement form, your personal evaluation, sign-in sheets, program evaluations, syllabus material, name badges and a self-addressed stamped envelope. Most importantly, a script to introduce the speaker is also included. The package will come via UPS and arrive at your office the week of the program.

Once the program is over, the on-site coordinator sends the documentation back to TAFP in the self-addressed stamped envelope.

The PrimeCME Meeting Planners have worked hard to make the job of the on-site coordinator as simple as possible. We hope that you will sign up and serve as an on-site coordinator because only with your involvement can we continue to provide CME when and where it’s needed!

If you are interested in serving as an on-site coordinator for a PrimeCME program please email Laurel Catlin at lcatlin@tafp.org.
