Doctors' Office Quality – Information Technology (DOQ-IT) and TMF® Health Quality Institute
posted 8.1.05
Choosing and implementing an electronic health record (EHR) is easier when you have professionals by your side who can guide the process. Doctor’s Office Quality – Information Technology (DOQ-IT) provides consultive services at no cost from TMF Health Quality Institute (formerly known as Texas Medical Foundation).
TMF, under contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, is offering participation in DOQ-IT for small- and medium-sized primary care practices interested in implementing an EHR system. Interested primary care physicians are encouraged to visit www.doqit-tx.org to learn more about the initiative.
TMF will help your practice:
- Identify and address issues that affect workflow before you spend money and time to implement an EHR.
- Narrow down the list of vendors based on issues identified in your workflow assessment.
- Make the leap from paper to electronic one step at a time with a customized roadmap.
- Continue to take advantage of the EHR’s functionality in order to maximize your investment.
We are currently offering the following series of Web conference calls to help you get started with EHRs. There is no fee to participate. Register online at www.doqit-tx.org/doqitwebex.aspx.
