Say “yes” to the work of the AAFP Foundation through dues check-off

When you pay your AAFP membership dues this year, be sure to make a $50 Check Off donation to ensure the Academy’s philanthropic arm can continue to advance the values of family medicine and improve the health of all people.

Through the generosity of its donors, the AAFP Foundation:

• Supports humanitarian and charitable initiatives;
• Provides educational programs and opportunities for physicians, students and patients;
• Attracts students to family medicine; and
• Stimulates and supports practice-based research.

A gift to the Foundation also supports the Family Medicine Philanthropic Consortium, a group of Academy Chapters and Chapter Foundations responsible for annual programs that advance family medicine. The FMPC supports TAFP and TAFP Foundation initiatives including Hard Hats for Little Heads.

To donate, simply check the “Yes” box on your AAFP dues statement. If a member of your office staff pays your dues on your behalf, be sure to inform him or her of your desire to donate. Your contribution is tax-deductible.
