Help shape TMA’s legislative agenda on rural health by attending April forum

On April 5, the Texas Medical Association will host a rural health summit in Austin to bring rural health advocates together to design a rural health advocacy package for the 2009 legislative session. Presentations will cover the current state of rural health in Texas, the potential of telemedicine in rural areas and rural health policy successes in other states. TMA will also conduct a roundtable discussion to draft 2009 legislative priorities.

The meeting will take place at the Hilton Austin Airport next to Austin Bergstrom Airport. Rooms are available for at TMA’s negotiated rate of $109/night.
