Physicians must use National Drug Code on Medicaid claim forms after Dec. 31

Texas Medicaid providers will have to begin using the National Drug Code, or NDC, on Medicaid claim forms as of Jan. 1, 2008, according to the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership, the company under contract to administer the state’s Medicaid program.
