DSHS announces new rabies vaccine protocol
The Texas Department of State Health Services has released a revised protocol for administering rabies vaccine in accordance with the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. The bulletin provides more information on dosages for patients previously vaccinated and patients not previously vaccinated, and post-vaccination serologic testing.
