Congress to delay Medicare pay cut until April 30
The House has voted to postpone the threatened 21.2-percent cut to Medicare physician fees for another 30 days, and the Senate is expected to follow suit soon. Congress’ failure to find a permanent fix to the flawed payment formula “is simply unacceptable,” said TAFP President Kaparaboyna Ashok Kumar, M.D., F.R.C.S., in a February statement.
