Texas Senate releases Interim charges
The Texas Senate released its list of interim committee charges Wednesday. This list details tasks Senate committees must complete between the 81st and 82nd legislative sessions. TAFP Foundation accepting applications for research grants
Twice a year the TAFP Foundation solicits applications for research grants. The next deadline for applications is Feb. 1. The projects must be office-based research and must either be conducted by a family physician or take place at a family medicine office, residency program, or department of family medicine. Presented by TMF and the Texas Health Institute, the two-day summit offers physicians 13 CME credit hours and will cover topics like e-prescribing, EHR implementation, health information exchange, federal stimulus funding and “meaningful use.” On-site registration is available, but limited.
