Application period nears for new Physician Education Loan Repayment Program
The Texas Department of State Health Services is on schedule to begin the application process in December for the state’s new loan repayment program, which will provide up to $160,000 to cover education loans for physicians who agree to practice for four years in a health professional shortage area of Texas. If you’re interested in applying for the program, the first step is to choose where you intend to practice.
