2009 residency match shows decreased interest in family medicine
Family medicine residency spots offered and filled both decreased since 2008, according to results of the 2009 National Resident Match Program. Ninety-nine fewer family medicine positions were offered in 2009 than 2008, and 75 fewer positions were filled in the same period. Survey: Share your opinion on suicide prevention treatment in primary care settings
Ryan Graham, a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Program at Texas Tech University, is conducting a 30-question online survey on family physicians’ willingness and ability to assess and treat potentially suicidal patients to better understand suicide treatment in primary care settings.
