Physicians With Heart

The Physicians With Heart Program, an annual service project occurring in conjunction with TAFP’s Annual Session and Scientific Assembly, brings together the resources of family physicians, family medicine residents, and medical students across Texas to benefit a designated clinic in the Annual Session host city. Modeled after the AAFP Foundation Physicians With Heart Program, TAFP’s program is sponsored by the Section on Special Constituencies and supported by the TAFP Foundation.

Physicians With Heart 2012 will collect donations for People’s Community Clinic. PCC is Austin’s only independent clinic offering comprehensive health and wellness care to improve the health of uninsured Central Texans. Read more about the clinic on their website, www.austinpcc.org.
